Salvation is possible because of the death and resurrection of Jesus Christ, which pays the atonement for all sins! "For God so loved the world that he gave his one and only Son, that whoever believes in him shall not perish but have eternal life." (John 3:16) "God demonstrates his own love for us in this: While we were still sinners, Christ died for us.Since we have now been justified by his blood, how much more shall we be save from God's wrath through him!For if, when we were God's enemies, we were reconciled to him through the death of his Son, how much more, having been reconciled, shall we be saved through his life! Not only is this so, but we also rejoice in God through our Lord Jesus Christ, through whom we have now received reconciliation. Therefore, Just as sin entered the world through one man, and death through sin, and this way death came to all men because all sinned - for before the law was given, sin was in the world. But sin is not taken into account when there is no law. Nevertheless, death reigned from the time of Adam to the time of Moses, even over those who did not sin by breaking a command, as did Adam who was a pattern of the one to come. But the gift is not like the trespass. For if the many died by the trespass of the one man, how much more did God's grace and the gift that came by the grace of the one man, Jesus Christ, overflow to the Many!" (I John 2:2) Salvation is a free gift of God, and can only be received by faith and confession in Jesus Christ! (Romans 3:22-24) "Therefore, since we have been justified through faith, we have peace with God through our Lord Jesus Christ, through whom we have gained access by faith into this grace in which we now stand."(Romans 5:1-2) "For the wages of sin is death, but the gift of God is eternal life in Christ Jesus our Lord." (Romans 6:23) "For it is by grace you have been saved, through faith - and this is not from yourselves, it is the gift of God - not by works, so that no one can boast. (John 10:30) "God, who has called you into fellowship with his Son Jesus Christ our Lord, is faithful." (I Corinthians 1:9) The Holy Spirit was sent to guide those who believe into all truth! "And I will ask the Father, and he will give you another Counselor to be with you forever - the Spirit of Truth" (John 14:16-17a) "But when the Spirit of truth, comes, he will guide you into all truth. He will not speak on his own; he will speak only what he hears, and he will tell you what us yet to come." (John 16:13) "And hope does not disappoint us, because God has poured out his love into our hearts by the Holy Spirit, whom he has given us." (Romans 5:5) "The Spirit himself testifies with our spirit that we are God's Children."(Romans 8:16) The Trinity consists of the Father, the Son, and the Holy Spirit. They are three persons, which make up one God! "Then God said, "Let us make man in our image, in our likeness, and let them rule over the fish of the sea and the birds of the air, over the livestock, over all the earth, and over all the creatures that move along the ground."" (Genesis 1:26) "Therefore go and make disciples of all nations, baptizing them in the name of the Father and of the Son and of the Holy Spirit." (Matthew 28:19) " Be shepherds of the church of God, which he bought with his own blood." (Acts 20:28) Jesus is God! "I and the Father are one." Again the Jews picked up stones to stone him, but Jesus said to them, "I have shown you many great miracles from the Father. For which of these do you stone me?" "We are not stoning you for any of these," replied the Jews, "but for blasphemy, because you, a mere man, claim to be God." (John 10:30-32) "While we wait for the blessed hope--the glorious appearing of our great God and Savior, Jesus Christ." (Titus 2:13) " But when the kindness and love of God our Savior appeared, he saved us, not because of righteous things we had done, but because of his mercy. He saved us through the washing of rebirth and renewal by the Holy Spirit, whom he poured out on us generously through Jesus Christ our Savior."(Titus 3:4-6) " I am the Alpha and the Omega, the First and the Last, the Beginning and the End." (Revelation 22:13) "Listen to me, O Jacob, Israel, whom I have called: I am he; I am the first and I am the last." (Isaiah 48:12) The Holy Spirit is God! "The Spirit of God has made me; the breath of the Almighty gives me life." (Job 33:4) "Where can I go from your Spirit? Where can I flee from your presence?" (Psalms 139:7) "May the grace of the Lord Jesus Christ, and the love of God, and the fellowship of the Holy Spirit be with you all." (II Corinthians 13:14) More to come! |
